Rebuilding Together is the nation’s
leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and
revitalize communities. Their network of more than 230 affiliates in
over 40 states provides free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the
homes of low-income Americans and help in the revitalization of our
communities.
Our Focus: Rebuilding Together fills a pressing need in our communities. The rising cost of living and falling social service budgets have left some of our most vulnerable neighbors without the most basic of necessities: a warm, safe, and dry home.
Who We Help: More and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities over essential home repairs and modifications. Recipients of services include the disabled and elderly, at-risk families with children, veterans and active members of our nation’s military.
What we believe: Rebuilding Together believes in a safe and healthy home for every person. This means that we believe disabled, aging and LI family homeowners should be able to remain in their homes for as long as possible. That the revitalization and renovation of existing homes is good for the community.
